IEC Material Development for Federal RTI Commission
As a strategic communications, research and advocacy specialist, Epiphany provided consultancy services to Federal Right to Information (RTI) Commission under a project funded by UNICEF to strengthen the institutional capacity of the Federal RTI Commission. The project aimed at overcoming the challenges that have impacted the work of the Commission to ensure the provision of information to the citizens and applicants in a timely and transparent manner. Under the project, Epiphany gathered data through first- and second-hand research – stakeholder interviews and meetings, literature review, online resources and developed appealing, innovative, and informative digital content, including infographics and videos on different themes/topics for advocacy and understanding of RTI law within different target groups. The videos included testimonials from journalists, researchers, and citizens on the effectiveness of RTI Law, skits to help people understand the functioning of Federal Information Commission and tutorials on using the Appeal Information Management System. Epiphany also developed brand identity material for Federal RTI Commission, planned and organized a launch event to promote integrated digital systems installed at the Commission (online request tracking and MIS), and designed the social media campaign. Epiphany was also responsible for developing the inception, mid-term and final reports documenting the services provided to the Federal RTI Commission.
