She talked about the core principles to keep in mind when creating an HCG that included 1) Instant fun 2) Satisfying 3) Simple to understand 4) 1 finger controls 5) 30-sec level playtime. She discussed the ad-based business model mentioning how companies generate money when gamers watch videos & ads when playing games, but worth mentioning is the fact that 90% of players will return after a week, post installing a hyper-casual game. That’s because the fun and viewers’ play span is short-lived and the real challenge is to monetize the game within that short cycle.
